We have two scanners in our house and neither work, so this is only a photo of the drawing. It looks so much better in person... *sigh*

subject is Stacy DuPree, the pianist and also one of the two vocalists of the band Eisley. Check them out if you've never heard of them, please.

Done in carbon pencil.

edit - worked on it a tad more & updated it here.

This is very good! :O But I think the shading needs to be sorted out to give some more depth. Especially her lips, cheeks, and her hair. I'm not sure if that line around her lips is meant to be lipliner, but it's very distracting, and if it supposed to be lipliner, it could be toned down. However, the actual lips themselves are very well drawn :)
Her eyes are brilliant. :D

Well done overall! :D I look forward to seeing more drawings!

Thank you for the constructive criticism, it really helps me. A lot of the stuff you mentioned looks a lot better in person... I really wish I could capture exactly what it looks like in person and put that on the computer instead, but alas I cannot. But I do agree I could work on all of those things, still, with this drawing. thanks!

awesome likeness of stacy. i am so jealous of this. cool you like eisley. they're my fave. i assume you're on the boards since you used the word "please" when saying ppl should check them out. lol. i do that too:)
